Menus are used to provide choices, which is why the Motivational Menu was created. The appetizers are comprised of pre-writing strategies, the entrees of writing formats, and the desserts of different forms of publishing. The Motivational Menu revolves around the idea that students should have a menu of choices to choose from when writing, which will result in their increased motivation in the writing process.
